Bluegrass Engineering has worked with municipalities, water/sewer districts, water associations and privately owned systems in planning for future improvements and expansions. The planning phases of a project are critical to establish the desired result of the project, budget and time frame. By listening to our clients we are able to deliver a project that is what was expected instead of what they received. No project can be constructed unless funds are available to pay for the project. Bluegrass Engineering has the ability to provide funding assistance for all projects. We have worked with Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Department for Local Government, USDA Rural Development, Appalachian Regional Commission, Kentucky Rural Water Finance and local sources for project funding over the years. By incurring a new project the impact that new project has upon rates is a critical component in the decision making process. Accurate planning, forecasting of project costs, the impact upon rates all play a part in a successful project.
